We are Davoc and Anne Rynne and we live in the West of Ireland in County Clare. It is a small rural townland called Knockliscrane – the hill of the burnt oat – and about a mile outside the town of Miltown Malbay.

We have been fulltime Antique dealers since about 1964, buying at small country sales, from people’s homes and from other dealers. For over twenty years we specialised in old Irish country furniture and folkart collectables. We have shipped dozens of 40 foot containers to California.

During this period we were constantly taking photographs to send to our American clients and this experience has greatly benefited us in the work we do today.

We never in our wildest dreams imagined that we would be doing what we are doing today. From loading fortyfoot high cube containers to packing two inch jiffy bags is truly a giant leap!!!

In irish-celt we list the finest rare Irish antiques and folk art. We hope to include Belleek – particularly earthenware Belleek. One of our great interests is in primary source documents, any papers relating to Ireland in fact.
